In Soap Opera, Susie Losch celebrates daily rituals. Her works evoke the viewer to reflect upon personal and private spaces and upon moments within the routine of daily life. These spaces can be places of rejuvenation and contemplation where transformation may occur.
Losch’s works play on Duchamp’s readymades through her use of found objects. Her innovative installations created from everyday objects and substances are presented in a quirky and thought-provoking fashion. Losch uses repetition to further surprise and engage her audience.
